Dr. Azlan Tariq, D.O., FAAPMR, is a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist (Physiatrist) with over 12 years of clinical and administrative experience. After completing his residency at Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital/Northwestern Medicine and his fellowship at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, he started his clinical practice in the Chicagoland area.
In 2012, Dr. Tariq joined Medrina, a Chicago-based multi-specialty practice, as one of the group’s first physicians. Since then, under his clinical leadership, the group has grown to include 600+ providers in 43 states and 1200 locations, making it one of the largest post-acute providers in the country. As the Chief Clinical Officer, he is involved in all aspects of business development, clinical policies, provider training, compliance, payor relations, marketing, and innovation.
Clinically, his main focus is disability awareness, non-surgical orthopedics, stroke rehab, traumatic brain injury rehab, spine pain, post-acute care, and musculoskeletal medicine. He has lectured at various conferences around the country and also runs an outpatient clinic in Oak Brook.
