Sabha Fatima, MA

Mental Health Director

Sabha Fatima serves as the Director of Mental Health for AMHP’s Chicago Chapter, bringing expertise in psychology, behavioral health, and organizational development. She is committed to advancing mental health advocacy, social justice, and culturally competent care for Muslim-Americans and other minority communities.   

Sabha is earning her Master’s in Industrial-Organizational Psychology at Adler University in Chicago and plans to pursue a doctorate. She works as a Behavioral Health Counselor in the Intensive Outpatient Program at Ascension Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital. Her experience includes serving as a Neuropsychological Clerk, scoring test data and exploring clinical uses of over 150 assessments, as well as working as a board-certified Registered Behavior Therapist for children with autism.   

Beyond clinical work, Sabha founded Rest Assured Rentals, a property management company, at just 21. She has served as the Muslim Association President in graduate school and has been actively involved in journalism, leading editorial teams and publishing work in print and online.   

Passionate about mentorship, education, and networking, Sabha is dedicated to fostering mental health awareness and leadership development within the Muslim health professional community. Through AMHP, she aims to drive impactful initiatives promoting mental well-being and equity.
