Alaa Malik is a medical student at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. She will be starting her residency in Ophthalmology at the Baylor College of Medicine/Cullen Eye Institute. She is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, and completed her bachelor’s degrees in business and biology from Tulane University. She serves as the secretary of the New Orleans chapter. She is passionate about mentorship, education, and advocacy. Through AMHP, she is excited to drive initiatives promoting professional development and advocacy.
