Yaseer Khanani currently serves as Director of Product & Design at Reading Partners, he leads the development of an innovative digital platform that connects K-5 students with volunteers for virtual tutoring to improve reading outcomes. He’s also an MPH candidate at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, specializing in Food Systems and Global Digital Health. His career spans product leadership at mission-driven organizations, where he has consistently developed digital solutions that bridge educational inequities and support underserved populations.

Yaseer’s passion for community health was cultivated during his Peace Corps service in Peru, where he trained local health promoters and educated youth on critical health topics. This grassroots experience, combined with his advocacy work leading the LA/OC chapter of RESULTS on global health policy, shaped his commitment to addressing health disparities through both technology and direct community engagement.

Yaseer brings a unique analytical perspective to complex social challenges. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to co-found a physician mentorship program for pre-medical students and currently drives his work analyzing food access challenges in West Baltimore communities.

Yaseer is passionate about leveraging his expertise in product development, community organizing, and public health to empower the DMV AMHP chapter in advancing social justice and mental health initiatives. Outside of work, he enjoys wandering outdoors, pretending to be a yogi, joining pickleball, attempting to build a comedic bone through improv classes, and discovering live music.
