Mr. Syed is a healthcare executive with 25+ years of experience advising hospitals, large integrated delivery systems, and health plans. Mr. Syed has a passion for helping healthcare organizations modernize business processes and technology, specializing in provider organizations. Particularly, he has extensive experience across the revenue cycle, including patient access, clinical documentation, health information management, third party billing and denials management. Recently, Mr. Syed has focused on bridging the gap using artificial intelligence (AI), including agentic automation, and revenue cycle management functions. He currently oversees a revenue cycle product company, as they mature product lines to meet the needs of hospital executives. Mr. Syed has led a portfolio of teams in support of the nation’s largest healthcare delivery system – the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). In this role, he directed the implementation of legacy system enhancements, including billing, accounts receivable, referrals & authorizations, and reimbursement system for claims. Mr. Syed’s blend of expertise intersects private and public sector markets, providing unique perspective to his work, synthesizing strategic, operational, and technological needs.
