J. Cornelius “Jimmy” Brown, CHE, MPA serves as an administration/governance expert with Health Resources Consultants, (HRC) and as a Technical Assistance Consultant for the National Association of Community Health Centers. Jimmy previously served as the President and Chief Executive Officer for HealthNet, Inc., in Indianapolis, IN., a federally qualified health center that provided care annually to over 61,000 patients over 37 sites. Jimmy’s areas of expertise include health care policies and procedures; board training and development; governance; health care operations and practice management; affiliation agreements and leadership development.

Dan A. Miles, MS is a financial consultant who has worked with approximately one-third of the nation’s FQHCs while conducting more than 600 site visits. He was HRSA’s most highly utilized consultant for performance improvement studies. Dan has assisted health centers in merger and acquisition of new practices, mentored financial management staff, developed financial recovery plans, and provided tools for use by health center staff to enhance performance. 

 

Constance D. Shabazz, MD, MPH, MBA, MPA is an experienced clinician, administrator, healthcare management consultant, and CMO Coach and Mentor who has worked in a number of community health centers. She has over 40 years of experience in the healthcare field. She currently serves as a clinical consultant for the Health Resources Services Administration (HRSA) and the Bureau of Primary Health Care (BPHC).

Health Resources Consultants (HRC) is a highly qualified and experienced team which provides management, training, technical assistance, and support to healthcare professionals.
